The Virginia Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) does not provide answers to questions; however, FOIA does provide citizens of the Commonwealth and media representatives broadcasting into the Commonwealth access to public records. See. Va. Code § 2.2-3700 et. seq. DEQ is committed to transparency and accountability. This web portal will provide you links to publicly available information, as well as the ability to submit a FOIA request for the information you would like to know.
